I can't help but think about self-acceptance—how our flaws and imperfections actually teach us something powerful about our uniqueness and self-discovery. Your definition of success and work style is yours alone, adding real positive value to your community, no matter the type of education or training you get.

Years ago, I watched Accepted, directed by Steve Pink. In the movie, a guy gets rejected by multiple colleges, so he creates his own higher-learning institution where he admits those rejected from college—and even though the school is fictitious at first (which wasn't a good thing). What starts as a hoax turns real. Then, he delivers this epic speech convincing the accreditation board to let the school run—championing freedom, creativity, learning, and the possibilities found in meaningful pursuits. These students embrace their entrepreneurial side.

And so, beyond traditional college paths—we've got the gift to make use of our unique talents and pursue our passions rather than be like someone else. Rejection paves the way for creativity, clarifies roadblocks by spotting what doesn't work, and lights up what's possible—a chance to ponder and level up!
